May Madness Going? Been there?

I have heard that May Madness in Nevada is a great event. It is held in Las Vegas May 4th-7th .
Supposed to be lots of vendors and events. Any body ever gone to one? I am thinking of going but need more info.
Is it worth going or is it a bunch of hype? If you have gone would you go again?

I'm in the same boat. I want to get a bunch of people to go, but I don't know much about the event. I've heard it's awesome though. Just want some more information before I make the drive. Thanks.

It isn't what it used to be guys, if you're traveling from Texas it especially isn't worth the time or drive to be honest. The vendors hall of "godahavits" is a joke and races last year were lame...the only cool thing is the 60 trucks that dyno. From SO-CAL..it would be fun..not from Texas

TireHauler. Thanks. When is the last time you went?
I found out some more info on the event.
You can get a one-day pass for $35, but that does not include the banquet. A good meal, but also the point where usually $5000 to $10,000 in prizes will be given away by random drawing. Also the trophies are given out there.
Schedule is not finalized. We hope to have sled pulling, possibly Thursday. There will be seminars different days, from Wednesday on. Most seminars and vendor activities are Saturday. Wednesday evening will be spent at Saitta-Trudeau Dodge in Pahrump. They usually have their own show-n-shine, etc. with $ prizes and food. Pahrump is a neat place, has a winery, and is the gateway to Death Valley for those who want to wander.

Decided to go, made reservations. Hope this is not going to be a wild goose chase. Its a long way and I don’t like blowing my vacation time on something that is not worth it. The wife is also interested in going. Who woulda thunk it?
