Brandon,
Was that yours that trashed a rear ujoint?
That guy with the big jacked-up 2500 (the one with about 12" of lift, but only 33" tires) was towed off the track - not sure what he broke, though.

Brandon, great video, especially the couple shots of spectators in the stands. How did you get the whole class compressed down to 20mb? What video editing software/program did you use?

Below is a couple video's of my truck from the pull. This is the smallest file size I can make them with the lowest quality. If I produced a video of the whole class it would be 50+ mb

Micheal,
Thanks! I use windows media encoder 8 software to rip them to WMV from the video camera. I set it to 256KB/sec WM8 format and it seems to work fine. Sometimes I'll pull it off the camera to MPEG1, edit it with tmpgenc and rip it to WMV using WM Encoder 8. Here's the link for WM9 encoder:

Chris,
Yep. I shattered the pinion yoke about 20 feet out. The truck felt soooo good! The steaks at LoneStar made up for it afterwards. I was trying to put faces to username's there, but didn't manage to meet anyone.

Paul,
Y'all put on an EXCELLENT show!! You had FOOD, grandstands were excellent location, track was killer & truck attendance was nothing short of amazing!!!

Brandon,
Checked out your pullin' video. Too bad about the pinion yoke. But hey, the rear valence looks good

Thanks for the kind words Brandon, dad says thanks too. I appreciate everyone coming out this year and participating.Hopefully we can have a better track next year, not bad this year considering they moved six inches of mud off in the morning, but a little dry by the time we got to the trucks. Sorry for being disorganized, but alot of miscommunication about throwing in classes jumbled things up a bit. Be ready for next year as we have some good things instore for ya.

PS: I like your burnout video.

Heck I wished I would have known all you guys would have been there. I had a great time there also but only pulled in the stock class. 254 feet on bald tires. not high enough to place but then again it was nice pulling in a stock class with two guys who had Larger than stock chargers and no tech's Hopefully next year it will be a little more organized...

I didn't stick around long enough to see all of the stock class pull, so I missed your pull, Aaron. I'm pretty sure I saw your truck as I was leaving, though. Didn't realize you had a cowl hood on it until then...

Dont blame me. We just helped organize the truck pull. I didn't have anything to do with the tech. I PROMISE next year will be better.

It needs paint!!! I think having a 25" hitch height helped. The truck bit sooo hard. The 900# of tractor weights and tires with tread left helped too.
