Best place is the Army's Fort Benning - Destin Army Recreation Area in Destin.
Eglin AFB's FAMCAMP will be slightly closer, but not much.

OK now i'm torqued..... I was going to go but Sunday night (someone who out ranks me

) backed into the truck. Not bad but still don't make me feel any better. Looks like the truck will be in the shop. Have to get it fixed before we go to the race in Bristol. I haven't given up yet but it looks like I might not be able to make it.

Everybody starts pulling in about 8:30- 9:00. I am already up here, and will be there around 8:00. There is realy no 'start' time, just in the morning.

Florida Chapters???

I split my time in Tampa fla for some of the year and North Ga for some of the year, since I am in college. My question is are there any chapters in the Tampa area? How does one get involved? Thanks!

I don't know of any DTR state-level club in the southeast. A few people have talked about starting one roughly on the Orlando-Tampa axis, but I never heard any more about it.

Neither can I find one in Alabama (90 miles north of me) or Georgia.

Yet 40 or more trucks showed up at Suncoast.

I guess folks are getting their knowledge and sharing it via the internet.
