You just need to hook up with Tim!!

Speaking of Tim, thanks for all the great advice, hard work, and great prices. You told me how to get to 500hp, I did it(with your help), and I almost got there.. We'll get her over that 500hp mark yet...

Ive made it home guys and I think I had a great time as always. Joel does a great job getting everything set-up and most importantly pulls it off with no drama or confusion. Just a smooth running gathering with good friends and black smoke.

I'll get the dyno numbers posted probably tomorrow and thanks to all that came out to support Mike and I. Its always fun to run trucks when you have a little "playing time".

Thanks again Joel, and it was great to see everyone and no frying pans this time either... and the steaks and brats are kinda becoming the trademark of this one.

Sounds like you made pretty good time. Glad you could make it and I certainly had a good time. Take a break and have a rum on me buddy. Thanks again to you and Mike both.

As usual, I had a great time! Joel, thanks alot for everything and my apologies to you for having to leave there a little early on Saturday. Also, my thanks to David and Mike for bringing the dyno and for doing another great job! Mike, my thanks to you, Tim Barber and Mr. Barber for cooking those great wings and sausage! They sure were good. It was great to see everyone again and to meet some new faces.

HUGE thanks to Joel for setting this up again this year.
Also thanks to the CVFD for the use of the facilities.
Great times, great people, mucho smoke.
Some pretty impressive numbers were recorded on the traveling Dyno.

Hope to have a REAL camper behind the Beast next year.

What Ed said.....

My FIL really enjoyed it also. I think he was rather impressed with what the Cummins can do (he drives a Ferd).

Hope to see everyone again next year and some of yous at the next meet and eat.

Thumbs up

FUN weekend!
Big thanks to Joel for putting things together,,,,,
,,,,, and David & Mike for all their hard work, plus driving all the way up here to bring us one of the most "Respected dyno rigs in the country".
More thanks goes out to all the folks who donated items for the raffles and DTR's Lary who sent us some very nice items to auction off.
It was good to see old friends and meet some new ones too. I'll open a new gallery in the "DTR Chapters" section of the photo galleries where folks can upload any pictures they took. I have some that my grandson took that I need to put in there. I'll try to get to that tomorrow as I'm working today.

I really would like for our chapter to work on this event starting earlier next year and hopefully combine it with some other activities like drag racing and/or a sled pull. However, I think folks had a pretty good time and thanks to Ted Barber, Dodgezilla and whoever cooked the steaks,,,,,, my grandson ate very well!

Just a quick note to those who helped and donated:
JohnP for the raffle donations, tickets, tent, and help
Rattlinram for driving me back and forth to the house several times
Lary for the raffle donations
Shovelhead for helping with the food money, grille, and cooking the slabs of cow
David and Mike for the excellent dyno work, table, and raffle donations (my wife wants another one of those lights by the way Mike)

And everyone who donated greenbacks to the CVFD. They really appreciate it and have already told me we are welcome again next year. Thanks to your generosity, I will hand them $450.00 cash tonight for their little slush fund. They really enjoy having us there. I also left them seven of those big fat steaks for their meeting tonight.

Thanks to everyone for showing up and hope you had a good time. Glad the Smurfs could make it and wish Mrs Smurf the best on her voyage to Iraq again. Mr Barbers brauts and wings were excellent as always. Dodgezilla's wings were a hit again and very good I might add.

I think I got everyone, sorry if I missed anyone. A lot of very nice trucks were there and a few new faces too. Thanks again.

Thanks to Joel and all the others for putting on a great event. I had a good time and look forward to next year.

I apologize for leaving early, but I told John P it would take over 3 hours to get to McMopar's house near Raleigh, NC and for some reason it only took us a little over 2 hours.
