Looks like I probably won't have the '96 ready in time after all. The cam didn't ship when they said it would . Meaning we only have one weekend to reassemble the engine, replace the clutch, and get it tuned in. Unless J.R. can pull off a miracle for me once I drive the cam over to him, I'm probably going to have to catch a different dyno day .

Well, I didn't want to wait any longer for the cam. I asked J.R. to just start reassembling it with a used regrind I had Saturday, so hopefully we'll still be done in time for dyno day. I'll just shelf the other cam when it comes in - we'll just drop it in next season or whenever we tear the motor down again...

Looks like there's a bunch of interest on KYDTR as well as TDR. DieselStop trucks are coming out as well as DieselPlace Duramaxes. Dyno spots are filling up... the only way to pick a time to dyno is to pre-register. Otherwise it will be first come, first serve.

LOL I can always count on a Mayer vehicle running at the dyno day, even if it's pouring rain. I wish I could haul you to this event, but there's a piston shortage going around... I can't for the life of me catch six unmelted pistons of the same type.

1 day away! Rumors have Ford 7.3 guys from Kentucky will be there. A heavily mod'ed Duramax is on the schedule. Over 1/3 of the available slots are filled up! The hog is going into the roaster in a few hours!
