Re:BIG K'S WA. BOMB PARTY.......SUPER EVENT

:-[Found out what the pop was
and the oil leak. It is the tappet cover leaking. After doing a search on TDR for tappet cover gasket, I found it is not uncommon for them to leak after a KDP fix. I think if I were to do it again I would pass on the air. I know that the air pressure was check by at least 2 of us and was not over 3
pounds.
So, the dealer wants over $600 to replace gasket. I'm going to do it myself. Anybody got any tips. It looks like I have to remove the complete fuel system on that side.

TC

Can't dispute the truth.
Can't say whether it was the last brew, or the late(early) bedtime, and subsequent lack of sleep, but I have felt better.
We sure had a good time Friday night, though.
When was the last time you heard " Monkberry Moon Delight"? Re:BIG K'S WA. BOMB PARTY.......SUPER EVENT

Well done, Ramflasher. Not many would know that. Name the album?
I know, all too easy. If 'ya know the tune, 'ya gotta know the album. One of my fav's.

Well, I could not resist, so I put my owm projects on hold, and dove in alongside of Terry. Joe(NAIL BENDER) was right there with us, and Nathan(nblack) was present to supervise :. Not to mention our neighbor, MIke.

Step by step, and now all is well. No more leak. Problem was obvious once there. Not rocket science, but you need to have a clue before attempting this job.

Thanks to Terry for the opportunity to learn, and for having the ***** to attempt this with us. Thanks for lunch, also.

We be happy campers hereabouts! ;D
