ATTN NJ Owners... and CT NY PA too.

Over on TDR we're trying to get a monthly get together going starting in September... anyone interested???

I have put together a NJ Cummins owners mailing list. Maybe this would keep people more in touch because it's quicker and oriented just towards NJ area people. If you're interested in subscribing just send a blank e-mail to nj-cummins-subscribe@jctransport.com. It'll respond to you and ask you to click on a link to confirm.

To send e-mails (after subscribing) you would just send them to nj-cummins@jctransport.com.

I'd be interested in a monthly meeting/get together. I'm only a few hours from the city.

Patrick - thanks for putting this together.

By the way - you've only been out in Arizona for about 1 year - why the move back already? I remember you dynoing at Carlisle '04, within a couple weeks you had split for AZ, then your truck was stolen.

I've been out there - it's gorgeous. I couldn't see myself moving back to this area if I went out there (and I almost did, once, to the Tucson area).

Not trying to be nosy, just curious.

It is just "different" here, sometimes hard to explain... the people, the culture, the weather. NJ has the seasons, the family, the proximity to NYC does something too I think. It's definitely been nice, and a great experience but I'm not sure it's where I feel most at home. Tucson might have been better for me, or even Flagstaff which is at like 6 or 7 or 8000 ft elevation, has beautiful trees, mountains, and definitely four seasons, but there's not much going on there unfortunately (job wise). I don't necessarily want to live in NJ forever after this but it's a good place to go back to since my family and girlfriend's family are both there. Part of the reason is definitely that she wants out, and I want her to be happy. She moved out here to be with me when I ditched NJ so I am in some ways returning the deed but it's definitely not against my will or anything.

Too much detail?

BTW I think the new/used nearly 200k mile old 25 MPG highway truck will put down a lot more power then the shiny 03 once I get the Edge EZ in there (thinking 300+RWHP) but dont know how the RWD will do in the NE winter... a few hundred pounds of sandbags might be in my Bed's future!

No, not too much, and I can understand your reasons. Welcome back.
