If any one is interested. There is a some kind of country fair thing in Vincent Town on the weekend of May 29,30. A buddy of mine is going to be there plowing the field with his 1907 Case steam traction engine. They should be taking the shingle machine also. Not sure what else is going on.

Been reading this thread. When did you guys meet or are you still coordinating a place and time. I'd come down from Orange County, N.Y.(guess that makes me a New Yorker) to check out the gathering.

 

^^^ we met, but will do so again, heck it was almost a month ago now that we got together, keep an eye on this thread and feel free to pos in it every now and then to keep it active and noticed.

 

Hey guys, sorry I haven't updated here...I sent in the chapter package, so step one done. When yall want to meet again?where? Summer's almost here so NJ should have all kinds of things to travel to and see. Bikers have poker runs, we should have a Ram run.. end up somewhere and eat some good food. Alright start brainstorming for our next meet.

ram run sounds good, y'all can take turns following me so you can all see what death wobble looks like well step one done to cure for it, ordered new tires and have a call in to Thuren manufacturing for some better parts.

EDIT: Well I just got done ordering the Dthuren track bar after talking with him about the issues my truck has, Death wobble ! should be here in about a week and a half.

 

At least you can drive yours, my VP44 gave up last thursday. New one should be here later in the week.

I am too, but my list keeps getting longer. VP44 to install on the 2000 . Goerend trans goodies to put in my 93 , hopefully this saturday. So much to do so little time.

I know a couple buddy's of mine around here want to go to Island Dragway friday night (not this friday, next friday, May 19) and play around.

 

I was thinking of an Island Dragway run too, just to watch though. I think that would be a great place for a meet/greet one Friday night or a Sunday. Anyone else down for that??

Where is Island drag way?
From the post I see, it looks like most of you are in North Jersey. Would like to hang out but it would have to be some type of all day thing before I drive 2 hrs.

 

Island dragway is just west of Hackettstown off of Rt. 46 in Great Meadows. I think its maybe 5-6 miles from where I live. I can hear them over the mountain on a calm day drag racing the louder cars.

 

Island Dragway is off Route 80-W exit 19. Maybe about 20 minutes off the exit. I would be down to hang out for the day if other guys were going to do the same.

I have a house down the shore in Bayville, so if other guys from down south wanted to hang out down there I would be up for that also. Let's see if we can get a date to meet up. I know personally I cannot go until after Memorial Day weekend. Maybe the first weekend in June we could get together at Island?

 

Wendy's on 23 north down in Wayne has a car night. Anyone up for a get together down there this wednesday night. Also try to get ove to hooters on 17 again, parking sucks over there, only drawback
