Be carefull with that there JEEP.
You start spending your time & money on winches and wenches and you'll never get another diesel truck.

 

I got that covered prospector, I hope down the road a little, to slide a little 4BT Cummins in it. I dont know if I am gonna do this one that way or of I am gonna buy an old CJ5 and put a 6BT in it? I will own a diesel powered Jeep though!

 

Sounds like a good plan you have there. Now get to it.

 

Well, here's an update of mine. About 11AM this morning, my wife totaled my '98 5.9 ZJ. God sure was on her side, cause she lost control of it doing about 70mph in a big curve. Skidded sideways flipped 3times over and thru a 12ft deep rock embankment and landed on all 4 tires when it finally came to a stop. She was wearing her seatbelt, and only has a few minor scrapes, cuts, and bruises. I'll have pics of the damage 2morow.

One good thing to come of this, is I happened to luck up and find an '05 CRD Liberty for sale at the local Nissan dealer. Now its sitting in the driveway. Yeh, not as sexy as any "real" Jeep. But at least its a diesel!!!

Looks like Ben will have everything bolted in and going good for me this evening!!! Can't wait! It's been nearly 8 months since I was last able to drive the beast!!! Hopefully he'll report in and post some pics for us, and give an update.

Drove all the way home fine while pulling the Jeep behind it on the trailer!!!! Nothing but good things to report!!!!!!

 

I'm glad everything is working out Street. Shortly after you guys left I got the diff put back in mine. Man its nice to have a diesel truck back, don't get me wrong the Grandma car rode better and all but its worth the trade to have my goat back.

 

Been a few more days since I got the truck back. Need to drain and flush the cooling system, other than that, nothing much. Found a loose/missing/leaking heater hose&clamp on the backside of the engine that I replaced with a real hose clamp.

 

Another update, everything still seems 100% wasn't able to get the cooling system flushed like I wanted though. I'll take care of that 1st thing when I get off the boat in 30days. I'll be taking it to the track in Memphis 1st chance I get when I get home.

 

Hey is anyone still alive out there? How's she holding up Street?
