I just got off the boat a few days ago and just finally got some breathing room. Looks like we got to plan a new meet-n-greet over at Ben's house to get things going with the truck. Seems one thing after another has kept both me and him from getting the job done lately. I've got the bank on standbye waiting on me for the go ahead for the amount I need. All I have is for a true assesment of cost. Ben as far as I know hasn't goten the head off yet. So we need to go over there and light a fire under his *ss!!!!

I wanna help, but I think I ran out of time.
I've got a lot to do to my truck, and I hope to leave for Colorado NEXT WEEK.

This is completely off topic, but does anyone have a KDP jig? I see talk of another meet-and-greet so I'd sure like to get the KDP taken care of if I'm in the states and can make it.

Finally got the head off of Street's truck. We were very pleased to see that the culprit of the misfire and noise was simply a blown head gasket. It had a nice little passage connecting #4 and 5 cylinders. The block still looks great so I think he got lucky.

Actually he said he is still getting the new head. But he is lucky that there is no "trench" in the block or cylinder damage.

Well it's me hailing from the might river boat! Looks like I'm either gonna get a new rebuilt 2004.5+ head and keep mine for a spare, or rebuild mine. Depends on what the head shop says. I'm trying to track down Karl and see if his offer on his II Stage2 CP3 is still good. If so I'll get it, pull the giggle gas and run fuel only on the stock hardware until the wheeels fall off. Something I believe is a much better/reliable/long term setup.

Introduction

Hello All,

My name is John and I am new to this thread. I live in Hernando, MS and met 1stgen at a Search N Rescue meeting. I started talking to him about his truck and he told me about this thread. I PM'd Street about joining this chapter and he told me to just jump into the thread, so here I am. Right now I own two first gen trucks. 1 is a 1992 the other a 1993 both are club cad D350's. The 92 was in a wreck and I bought the 93 so I could transplant the motor from the 92 into it. The 92 is a stick and the 93 has a slush box. Well thats all for now, just wanted to introduce myself.

John

Great!!!!!!!!!! Some new blood. All you have to remember is that New Castle is the official beer of the group when it comes time for a meeting. Speaking of which, we need to set something up again soon. Abby's lake house would be great!!!! I got to look thru some of the old posts and see if I can dig up his ph#.

Look forward to meeting all of you. I am happy you did not say fresh meat street. as for the beer I regretfully have to say that I do not partake due to a severe allergic reaction to alcohol. I break out in bruises and handcuffs, it is not a pretty site. Other than that let me know when the get together is and I will be sure to make it.

Bump.

It sure is nice here in Colorado!
No snow, 2 days in a row.

I think I'll stay here a bit. I hear that it is HOT in the mid-south.
