Ran into a guy this afternoon in the big town of Olive Branch that has a early 2005 2500 with BDPP with Crazy Larry. Stopped and talked for a little bit and gave him a chapter form so maybe he will stop in. He is a Pete mechanic in Memphis. Truck looked great and ran even better. Cant go wrong with Crazy Larry. If you lurking out there and see this, register and post a reply here.

I hate that I missed the last meeting. I bet it was a lot of fun. My bank account was running on vapors and I just couldn't make it. Setting money aside now for the next one though! Quick question, what should I go with a Comp or a TST PM3? They are both used and about the same amount. I'm selling my EZ to get one or the other. What's your thoughts? Thanks - Max

My vote's for the TST, but if the Comp box is the Drag version, go woth it. Can't go wrong either way though.

Mglass, I wish I could have been there too. I think I have family in town the second weekend in june, but since it is so close I should be able to get down there for at least part of the time. As for your question about the comp or tst, I can't really tell you which one I like better becouse I don't know much about the tst and have never rode in a truck with one. I do have a comp box and the only thing I don't like abot it is that it doesn't do much in the lower rpm, so unless you get the rpm's up high before every shift the truck will be slow in the first part of the next gear. Then when the rpm get's up to somewhere between 1700-1800 it will take off. It can be a little agrivating in daily driving, or to me at least. I would really like to get a smarty, since they say it really helps out in the lower rpm's

Hey Billy, if it was me i would just get a set of 75-100hp injectors, they are just so cheep for you I couldn't do anything else. And it would be real power all the time. Just a thought. And then if the bottom is stil sluggish, get an EZ to stack.

Cheap you say? Well that would be nice for me. I would like to get the smarty but I'm not sure I want to spend that much money, at least not right now. I think I do remember hearing that the HO's respond better to injectors and the SO like the boxes more. Which injectors would you suggest and what kind of money are we talkin. I've got a little money I can play with but we know what happens when you dip into the reserve too far for something that isn't neccisarry...you lose a clutch and the vp goes belly up, and then the hot water heater at the hose goes out and the wife is Injectors have been on the list of wants for a while maybe they need to move up the list. Did someone say something about a wrench session coming up. We might have the need for one.

A set of BD's 90hp xxx-Pulse injectors are $500. Or get the tips only and change them out yourself for $43.50 a piece. They not nothing special, just higher flow Bosh replacements. Like I said, stupid cheap. If I had a 12v or 24v that would be 1st on my list.

I think I'll be ready for a wrench session real soon.
I need to rebuild/re-shim the Luke's Link on my truck, AND I've already ordered the Energy Suspension urethane sway bar bushings from Summit Racing. Oh yeah, I also ordered the Enegery Suspension bushing for the other end of my drag link.
