The time has come for new ball joints and front axle u-joints. After pricing the job at some local "Mickey Mouse" shops in the Kansas City area, I don't have any confidence with those people. I also can't find a reputable shop that specializes in HD 4x4 trucks.

Would anyone with experience be willing to help me do it myself? It's not rocket-surgery, but I don't have a facility or tools to safely make the repairs.
