Thats what the 8000lb no hanging weight is for. Put weight in it in the bed in the cab I dont care make the truck 8000lb and come pull, thats how its fair, Wow, yaeh he got 2nd, not impressed at all I wasnt with mine that night and wasnt with Gwoodys truck, Jason ran, good put like 12' on 2nd. If you cant see how that levels the field I guess you and Dane dont need to come, I wanted you guys here but with all the cryin It still wouldnt be a fair pull, with you guys. You make the rules your way show up, I'll pull whatever you want, is that fair. I wasnt wanting you guys to come down just so we could put it to you, Im not that way, I like having rules.

Raymondsville the first pull in the spring the 2.6 class? Dane did well and like I said these CR trucks push way more power then those vp trucks. For him to go out there with 545hp and beat guys knocking on 700 that's impressive in my book maybe not yours but everyone has there own thing. Every pull we have done has been 8000 pound with hanging weight?? CMPA, MMTTPA, DHRA, NADM, ITPA?? so whats with the change? Any others i'm forgetting?
Here was the thread a little while back about the 8000 pound class at compd. Good points where made about making it 8500 and 8000!http://www.competitiondiesel.com/for...+weight+change

Also the rules aren't our way unless Me and Dane typed up all the rules for every other organaztion that has a 8000pound with hanging ballast rule? this has turned into more of an argueement then anything and we were just saying why change the rules in the middle of the season? If anything I say 8000 pounds with added weight or 8500 without any. Most guys don't have the extra weight to even get to 8500 pound. Corey I think me and you will go round and round on this forever we both have a different oponion.

Also what guys you been running with down there with strong vp trucks? Haven't seen them at many big events?

Yep your right it has, I dont think that even your own rules you would be happy, Cuz you guys sure as heck wasnt last time.
Brad Hudler, Joey Leuthen, Leonard Bradshaw, TJ Busk, there some bad vp trucks Brad has prob the 2 best vp in the surounding states.
But whatever you boys want, I dont care but am close to the point to saying forget it, and leave SMS out of the picture. Matt wants pull he didnt think you guys would have a problem with weight, he was shocked that you all would. I cant blame him I was too.

i say let a neutral 3rd party that don't give a crap make the rules and let everyone throw in their opinion on what they want. then compile everything, make a general rules for everyclass to follow then break down the classes into specifics. if this isn't a points pull just a good money hook who really shives a git???

If for some reason DHRA or CMPA or another big organaztion wanted to come down to that pull would you try to get them to change the rules so that 2 guys can throw 500pounds up front? If you did what do you think they would say? I have a pretty good idea what they would say! So all them other pulls you've been to what kinda weight classes did they have? It's about when do you stop? We aren't the ones changing the rules you are, but I guess we are th rule makers?? So if you kick the SMS out then who's gonna tech trucks or you just gonna run an open class? Like I said we aren't gonna make it anyways so make it what you want. I hope you get alot of trucks there.

The points guys act like the dont know how to hang weight, Last year this is what everyone wanted now, that there are some new guys around they want it there way. They have a problem with 4 door log bed 3rd gens that have some lift, they think thay need to be ran in in open class, there not pulling trucks, just short beds and 2nd gens only make pulling truck, they want to put 800 pounds up front but the 3rd gens cant do that, but thats fair and making a 8000lb all over class with no hanging weight so all trucks can weight the same NOPE thats unfair.

Well dhar did up the weight at owensville for the 2.8 SS,. Your missing the hole point, Plus Matt is the on who agreed so if you want to grip at someone about changing the rules I guess go to him but I have idea what he might say to you guys. This isnt DHRA CMPA, NADM, Its SMS, and SMS is trying to git there feet planted , they took the pull for the $$$, and hoping to get more guys to sign on for next year. That makes it better for everyone I understyand where your coming from tory. You need to understand why Matt booked the pull. Im glad you 2 arnt coming it would be nothing but a cry baby fest the next week.

RULES ARE RULES nothing is ever fair? guess they need to make rules that are specific to each truck to make everything fair? Who wwanted an 8500 pound weight class? This has been brought up over and over again and guess what it has never changed everyone still runs 8000 pounds with hanging weight unless it's a brush pull. Again how is it our way? Nobody has said anything about the rules all year until now? I didn't see any of you tell DHRA to change their rules because for the simple fact they won't and neither will anybody else? If they go to a 8500 pound rules and everone wants it not just 3-4 people then yeah go for it.

there where no 3.0 truck in the Street class last year, 2.8s but no 3.0s Dont put words in my mouth I have never bragged about my truck or Jasons, I have said Jason has a tuff truck, Thats it.
SMS will not hold the diesels at Raymondville,
2.6,2.8, and Open class are still a go with a 1000.00 purse in the 2.6 and 2.8

So your reason to push SMS out is what? Because the points guys aren't coming or just because the simple fact that it is either "Your way or the Highway" They are a small organaztion and some of us are trying to make them grow instead of pushing them around at your hometown fair to run your rules. Come on Corey i would think you would know this. So what happens at the next pull when a few guys have 2.8 turbos bushed down to 2.6 do we say oh well the more hooks we got the better. It's not just about weight it's about trying to bend the rules where do we stop? What about when that DMAX whipped up on you guys you werent very happy that he was bending the rules?? Also Kevin Cole is a 3.0 truck! One of the best in the state! he was at Raymondsville september last year.

Im not a rule bender, im simply sayin if there are no points guys we dont need you, why spend the extra money, plus it set this up with the SMS president, its not my way or the highway, thats what I thought was best. Hey maybe I was wrong for wanting a 8500 but dont come on here sayin i wanted it for my own behalf, Matt thought you guys would have a problem. Just drop it its over now. I hope you feel better now that you can keep your pulls closer to you.
