    Enjoyed your gear vendor thread. I had a question if the gear manufacturer you found overseas, if that information is still available.

    I had the same gear break about 10 years ago, somehow talked GV into selling me one. He told me then it will break again. I found a chunk of metal during oil change, opened it up and that gear is missing a tooth and cracked.

    Did yours hold up? Or no longer have it?

    I think GV told me they break because of too much wear in the drum or one way clutch, that is why they break in the first place.

    Not sure what to do, sell this thing, fix it, send it back to GV, or just throw it on the shelf.

    Thanks, and thanks for the wonderful thread you posted. I have the same attitude, if GV doesn't want to help me I will find another way.
