Do you have gauges? What is your fuel pressure? If you don't, grab a test gauge and plug into the vp-44 test port to find out your fuel pressure.

I doubt it is the programmer as it worked fine previously. It sounds like a fuel delivery related issue to me - think through the fuel system from the tank through to the injectors.

Post over in the 24v engine section as well, you'll get more response and assistance. Also fill out your sig so each post your truck is described, it will save you some typing.

I've seen this problem due to a bad lift pump and also have seen it due to bad crank (or was it Cam?) sensor years ago.

Check you LP pressure and for codes. IF you already have checked Codes and you only have overboost, fill out your signature. That might help some. Could be tied to some aftermarket parts on the truck?

Don't know if you have a good hook up for a VP, but Midwest Fuel Injection really treated me well.
Good luck!

Sorry to hear of your misfortune Crash, but a new VP and LP and you'll back in business in no time. You have the master helping you out, so you are in good hands.
