I am doing the same. Just figured I could save the core charge and get his and give him my trans back a week later... just messin around.. Nothing personal.....

brand new 48RE tranny. It was built for a customer, but he ended up not getting it. Now it is sitting and looking for a home.

It does not have a converter currently cause he had already purchased a Goerends converter not long ago.
