Transmission Shop near Annapolis
My trans finally bit the dust. I believe I will purchase a Goerend, but need an installer nearer to Annapolis. (Goerend's closest referral is in Bel Air) My usual mechanic sells Suncoast which is too $$ for my budget. Any of you have a thought on an installer nearer to Annapolis who will install a Goerend and not try and push something else on me?
I am no where near qualified to do this job myself.
Thank you!

Keep posting, we have a couple guys with trailers, etc... I'm telling you we can get this thing installed for you. Keep the thread alive, somone will post up offering to move that truck from Annapolis to Kingsville.
if you get the tranny we can install it we did my HTS tranny up at scotts. how mush are they saying for a goerend? i got my hts for 6100 full billet with a laminated flex plate and suncoast triple disc tc
My truck will still move. I just have a problem with 1st gear -- it slips terribly and works best if I shift in and out of 1st manually. Goerend is $3,550 plus shipping w/out the flex plate. Since I am going for longevity not high power I'm undecided on the flexplate. Thoughts?

Did you get your trans direct from HTS in the Midwest or did you get tit through one of the local HTS guys ( Westminster, Mechanicsville)
Wondering if they are just install guys or if they actually build the transmissions at their shops...
Also do you have a list of parts and prices? And how is it holding up after multiple pulls ans drag racing??? I need one that can hot rod during the week and pull my trailer in the mountains of Pa during the weekend and not get hot....
Thanks
tranny is holding up great after the beating i have put it thru so far. i ordered it from wade but it came directly from dusty hawk so i suggest just calling him up and getting a price.
Where's Kingsville? How far away from Annapolis? I have access to a trailer, but I would have to check with the owner. Mine is not heavy enough to load trucks on.
just mapquested it, about an hour and 40 minutes for me. Not sure when I could do it though. How soon would it have to be done?

What model and for what trucks is it. I am going to be needing one first part of next year... What are the specs and what convertor comes with it......Goerend advertises that their prices include a three clutch convertor....

I am still first in line.........
