thanks to scott sunday night with swapping out a lift pump that died in the driveway to the cave.

 

Not sure what it is about second gen trucks and lift pumps dying in the cave driveway, that is the second one on a black second gen. Glad to see that you guys were able to take care of it, I had prior commitments that I had to get to.

Sam's LP died in the driveway. We got it fixed until he gets his Airdog this week.

 

theres no better place to do it. kinda like dieing and falling into your own grave.

 

I've asked this before I think but couldn't find it.
The only (?) thing to add to my truck is guages. (read things in my budget)
Boost, EGT, do i need a Fuel Press on an '05?? maybe oil press. I was thinking 2 or 3 guages on a windshield mount. ISSPRO I guess.

 

the three gauges i would run is the boost egt and fuel pressure. if it was a auto trans i would say trans temp but with a manual trans you don't need it. oil pressure should be on the stock gauge cluster in the upper right hand corner on an 03-07. have you seen the way that i have my three gauges set up in the center of the dash where the little storage area is below the heater controls with a srt-10 a-pillar to retain the a-pillar handle?

 

Wondering if anyone wants to help me install some amp research steps, looks like a bit of fabbing has to be done and i have no idea how to even use a darn rivet gun haha. Will have them at the beginning of next week.

 

Wow we're getting too much rain. The lake is cresting the banks and i have a river in the back yard. The front is a lake too. Hope the house doesn't get flooded.

 

My basement is already full!!! Arghhhh. I'm used to it so no damage (everything is elevated 2" off the floor) but it is frustrating nonetheless.

 

Well gonna get home and survey the damage.
