You can get a decent new Goerends for less.

According to Goerends website... I want to be able to pull a 20K GVW and push more than 400hp. Some day the truck will run 19.5s and have a set of twins, so I need something that I don't have to worry about at all.
I am also not sure about building my own trans.. I tried that once and it has not held up well....Not afraid to do it again, just want the warranty incase something happens...Looking for a great convertor and as much billet as I can afford. Also want to increase the clutch packs and upgrade them at the same time...

Put the lower end Goerend in mine about 10k miles ago. I love it. We basically slapped it in and it has been perfect! I would buy another in a heartbeat. I would think a Goerend with billet input could be had for close to that ATS price, and you won't beat their customer service, ever.

Looking at a 25' Grady White boat a friend is selling. 80's vintage not sure yet, 2 130HP Suzuki outboards.
Has a soft spot in the floor, anyone do fiberglass and want to help me if i buy it?

Glass work isn't hard but be very careful with a soft spot in the floor. You may end up having to separate the upper deck from the hull and rebuilding the entire floor. It could take you a whole season of work to do it. If it were me I'd steer clear.

like keith said, it depends if you can acess the soft spot without seperating the top of the boat from the hull. Where is the soft spot and how big is it? You will have to glass it from under the floor to do it right.

Ok so i'm not going to get the boat. Don't need another money pit!

So everyone who has electrical connections i need your help now.
Here's what i am doing.
Running 220V 200amp single phase service from the Cave to the house.
I'll require a 500' spool of what ever. I've been told i need 4/0 service cable. Is that correct?
So when i call Shepard electric to get a price what exactly do i ask for?
I want to get the ball rolling ASAP on this!
