Thanks scott, i have to measure it to be sure, but the wood is going on my gooseneck trailer that im building the deck is going to be 28'Lx8'Wx2" Thick, i dont know what kind something that will hold decent amount of time.
bobby the rough cut lumber i have would be perfect for the trailer. and i'll sell it to you for 20 bucks a board.
from my craigslist ad:
i have 30- 2 3/4" (11/8) X 9 1/2" X 10' 4-6" rough cut poplar wood planks. Yellow poplar is the tallest growing domestic hardwood species and is a member of the magnolia family. The bark, leaves, flowers, fruit and roots contain pharmaceuticals. The sapwood is creamy white and may be streaked, with the heartwood varying from pale yellowish brown to olive green. The green color in the heartwood will tend to darken on exposure to light and turn brown. The wood has a medium to fine texture and is straight-grained; has a comparatively uniform texture. Poplar is a versatile hardwood that is easy to machine, plane, turn, glue and bore. It dries well with minimal movement in performance and has little tendency to split when nailed. It takes and holds paint very well. Poplar is most commonly used for millwork, painted furniture, and secondary furniture components. $35 per board. if interested please e-mail me a phone number and i will get in-touch with you.

Well I am halfway done with putting her back together, just got to do the torque on the studs, install the charger, reassemble the top of the motor and rest of the odds and ends and she will be ready to go again. I am planning on finishing it tomorrow night so I can get a few days of break in before the Buck.
