scott, travis, or who ever owns the wooden rods used to hold up the lifters do you mind if I borrow them? the cam is ready to come off this week thanks

Dave those are Leonard's and he has them at his house currently doing his cam. I am going to get another set in the cave this weekend if you want to borrow them you can.

just go buy some 1/2" dowel rod at home depot...cut to length and put a taper on the one end.

I could very well do this but I will only use them one time and have them sitting arround

travis plans have changed on my end so I will not need the rods any more but thank you. The motor is commin out and I'm gonna take the cam out when the motor comes out. plan on droping the lifters through the oil pan and putting them back in the same way

Wow sounds like you have some big time motor work ahead then. And I just bought another set of them too. Oh well I guess someone else will get to break them in then.

not really just new head, cam, lifters, pushrods, rod bearings, clutch, and damper

It says it goes to the windsheild, I rather have one thats right at the edge of the Dash Bezel....Think I could mod it to fit?

Yeah i bought a 96 its pretty dirty needs alot of tlc! i would like to replace the interior and make sure its in good running condation before i start doing mods but hey you guys are the experts so i am open to your suggestions!
