Canister locknut help ........................
Well I removed my tank to replace my rear brake line, I had also removed the canister to make disconnecting the lines easier. The brake line is in and bleed, fuel tank is in and I started my FASS HPFP install. After fighting with the canister locknut for an hour, it is on but does not appear to be right. However it is tight but cocked, I was wondering if anyone is close enough to see if they could get it right. The truck is inside and I hope to get the pump install done tomorrow but I have to visit with my Dad for awhile. Just let me know.

If it is cocked then it is not installed properly. Take it back off using a flat screwdriver and a hammer to get it off. Seat it by hand until you can not turn it by hand anymore then use the screwdriver and hammer to get it tight. It is easy enough and if I did not have to work so early I would head up to lend a hand.
