What kind of dog food?

Just bored at home and wondering what yall feed. I grew up feeding Pedigree, but now I feed my Pointer pup Iams Smart Puppy, my wife's Chihuahua eats Nutro Dental Care, because he won't chew on a toy he has bad tooth problems, and we can't afford to pay to have his teeth cleaned every 6 months. I wanna kill whoever abused him before

Either Diamond Hi-Protein from the local MFA or Purina Hi-pro from wally world. Have raised 3 dogs into their teens on the Diamond brand food that MFA sells. Short hairs did really well on it.

On recommendations from our vet and the breeders, we've raised our last 3 Shelties on Nutro. It can be found at Petco.

Purina One for my black lab. I mix up the flavors but don't give him anything that has lamb in it...it gives him gas... and we all know how well dog flatulants smell!

PS...for all you guys feeding your dog wet dog food, it consists of 75% water!!! There is not any more nutrition in wet food vs. dry food. So if your dog only eats wet food, just buy dry food and add water.

Wheeeeew you ain't kidding. My dogs seem to have a taste for horse apples and man do they pass the gas after making a pass through the pasture. I knew there was a reason I didn't buy that dog water purifying machine.

Puppy chow tastes best to me, but my dog eats Eukanuba lamb and rice.

I usually feed my pitbull a good mix of cats, chihuahuas, shih-tzus and small children. (Its a joke!)

Anyway, even tho the dog will eat anything I put infront of her I usually give her Purina Dog Chow (green bag). She likes the stuff and its not all that expensive since I get a 50lb bag and store it in one of the big Rubbermaid tubs.

A small tip for those of you who breed or have dogs that have had puppies; if you feed the mother a good puppy chow for about a month after the pups are weaned it will flatten out her belly to some extent. My dog looked like she was still nursing pups for almost 6 months until I did this and it sucked her stomach right back up...

We have German Shepherds, and the breeder told us to feed canidae and they love it. Also give 1/4 tsp of crystaline vitamin C it helps to prevent hip problems in shepherds

Hate to say it but, if you look at the ingredients ol'roy is a better quality dog food than the above mentioned. Sorry guy's. Most of the dog foods mentioned have corn meal and crap as the 2nd ingredient, nothing but fillers
