Cool retired LVP

Hi everyone
My name is Larry. I've viewed this website for a long time and have never posted, or introduced myself. I have a 2005 Dodge diesel with a 6 speed Getrag tranny. This is my first diesel and we have no complaints about power and mileage. Currently I am thinking about getting an exhaust brake. I started pulling a trailer that weights around 7,000 lbs + and I truly see the need when doing downhill. Our trailer has brakes on all 4 wheels, but there are times when added braking would be nice!! We have not spent a lot of time searching for exhaust brakes, due to what I describe as sticker shock. They have all been over $1,000. We think getting something close to OEM spec. would be good.
Thank you in advance,
Larry

Welcome to DTR!! You should fill out you signature so you don't have to list your mods every time you ask a question
$1,000 is about average, althought you might find one cheaper here in the classifieds

I am just a little bit computer savvy, I don't know what you mean by fill out a signature, or how to do it.
