Just got the new truck last week, put 1300 miles on her already and I'm impressed so far. Been reading everything I can but I'm confused as heck about what I can and can't do to her. Can't find a flash sticker on it anywhere, is the Smarty ok with no other mods? Keep seeing differing opinions whether I will lose 40hp if I unplug the EGR. I'll be getting Line-x, running boards and gauges soon. Hoping to find a pic of a grey one with black line-x all the way around on the rockers, over the bed rail, bumpers and grille as that is the way I'm leaning but I'd sure like to see it first lol.

Anyway - looking forward to learning from all of you!!

I think you can download different tunes for the Smarty...

One with the DPF and one for without it.

 

I'm in Thousand Oaks but frequently roam all over SoCal. Ordered an edge insight w egt so hopefully sometime next week I'll at least be able to see whats going on a little better. I still don't think I've felt a regen yet.
