New to fourm

Have 2002 Ram 2500 from new - 172000 plus miles -- best investment ever in truck. Looking for info on adding cold air box connection to cowl?
Anyone done this?
If rotate the stock airbox 180 the fender opening is now pointed to cowl - have not made cut to cowl as yet -- this places the top of airbox on fender (which can be mounted to fender) and bottom of box toward hood.
I know this will add noise to cab area - this being high pressure area, it should supply more than enough air..
Not made cut to cowl area yet -- soon though.
New or straight pipe exhaust in works...
Thanks
It does rattle!
