Welcome to the DTR!!!
I have an 04.5, and I love it...
What all do you have done to the truck? There are a few Canada chapters, so if you need help, there might be some members close to you.

Hey Guys Thanks for the hello.
Well the First thing i did was put in a 40'' donaldson, with the commotion of the sawzall the kitty cat got scared and ran away too. Got a blingin black chrome 5'' tip to finish the exhaust, for now. Afe stage 2 and Dipricols on order, well backorder(boost guage according to marge) i guess. Tranny temp, boost and egt. Debadged her the other day, cleaned it up real nice. Lost the silecer ring too, love the whistle. Got some new 285 Goodyears, look nice and should work well in the winter.

Welcome, Love my 04.5. I couldnt tell by your sig if you had done a liftpump upgrade, but after I put guages on (fuel pressure at the filter is a must) I noticed at idle my fuel press. was around 6 or 7 psi
and at WOT I could pull it down to nearly zero. I called Cummins CalPacific and the Tech said these motors need at least 10psi going to the CP3. Needless to say my warranty would not allow for a replacement lift pump until it failed. I did not want get stranded somewhere with my family in the truck, so I ordered the Walbro 392 lift pump kit from Glacier Diesel Products, well, its from GDP but I bought it from this website in the DTR store. I have a consistent 19psi going to the filter and cant pull it down below 16 at WOT. I figure I should have gone with the 2 Micron filter as well, but maybe thats next.

Yeah no lift pump upgrades as of yet. I plan on doing both an airdog and some fuel guages next. Was gonna get a smarty initially but now all of a sudden this PoD pops up so i may wait for its release. Living in Canada can be a bit of a hassle sometimes getting parts to and from the border. Rather buy the PoD Later with the firmware than have to send the original smarty back for an upgrade. Not sure yet.
