New guy here (obviously) I live in Norco CA (Horsetown USA) out in western Riverside County. Currently I play with big 4500 HP diesel engines, since I work for BNSF Railway as a mechanic

Don't have a truck yet, but am looking to get a mid 90's 12 valve, since it's likely to be what's in my price range. Admittedly I am a die hard Chevy guy, but it is not in the cards financially to get a D-max I do love the sound of these Dodges though

This truck will mostly be used by my wife for hauling her horses around to different events and such. I will use it occasionally to haul my 66 CJ5 to go 4 wheeling.

Any thoughts on the reliability (especially transmissions) and what to look for when purchasing a rig would be much appreciated.
