Homemade 4" intake

Well here it is, I built this 4" pvc intake for my 2007 cummins 2500 5.9L tonight.

Cost:
PVC Pipe $26.19
Air filter $61.70 (Amsoil 4090)
Pipe Glue $3.99
Pipe Primer $3.49
4 1/8" washers $0.40

Total= $95.77

Not bad for an intake you can stick your arm in and make a fist!

Doesn't seem too, I am gonna bend up some sheet metal shrouds tomorrow, and put a rubber mounted brace on it to hold it in place.

You know, its a little more whine, but its not as bad as I thought it would be. I didn't want it to be really loud, and it wasn't. Im a pretty avid welder, and I didn't even feel like messing with this one. Hopefully tomorrow I can get a little shroud bent up for it and look into painting it.

There is only one place on the internet to get them that I found searching, thats from amsoil. Every link on ever site sent me back to their site.
