Window Blows Out!
Window Blows Out!
Sat and watched the wife close the passenger side, front door.
As soon as she did, the rear, driver's side third of the three part window blew out. All of the windows were rolled up.
The door wasn't slammed. Temperature was about 74, but had been warmer earlier, perhaps 80's to 90's. It cooled down quick tonight.
I have read threads about windows breaking like this. Can Anybody point the way back to them?
Is this a TSB?
How much am I gonna pay?
Sucks to be me tonight.

Check the flocking on the weatherstrip that contacts the window. If it is gone, then TSB 23-025-03 may apply. You will likely find it necessary to explain to the service manager that the entire TSB has to be read, and it may take a call to Dodge to get it fixed on their nickel. This is normally not a warranty item after the body warranty expires, but if you are in a merchantability state, then there is hope. There were some trucks built with bad weatherstrip that lacked the soft flock that lets the glass slide and be cushioned, and that is a manufacturing defect that impacts servicability of the vehicle.
