Re:Wheres the best place to buy a injector pump ??

I just had mine replaced at the Cummins dealership in Toledo, it was $1,300 and $1,300 for labor. I watched them switch it out- it didn't look like much fun.
I would say stick with Cummins, I didn't know anybody but Bosch rebuilt them pumps.
OH, it was a rebuild from Mexico!. I will not write what I was thinking!!!!! :-X :-X :-X :-X.

I bought my pump at a diesel inj shop close to where i live. Paid about $930 exchange, for a rebuilt. I would rather have a rebuilt than an NOS one for the reason that the rebuilt one should have all the latest and greatest upgrades done to it . I did the job myself, took about 4 hours, If anyone wants the phone # of the place just let me know .

My friend works for dodge dealer. The book pays him 3 or 4 hours for a pump job. He does it in 1 and a half hours. $1300 for labor??? I would call my lawer. My pump job cost about $1500 with no buddy discounts.

Try to obtain a NEW pump not a reman.

Piers has them for $1350 (ETH) and $1399 (ETC) new.

Whoops...just noticed the date of the orginal post, anyhow keep us upto date on how your reman works out.

No problems with the reman, Like i saiid i think a rebuilt pump is the way to go. I dont "think" a new pump is going to have all the latest updates ,like a rebuilt pump would .
