just curious...what would happen if ur power steerign was low cause i was doing an oil change on my dad's econoline and noticed he's a lil low...he says he hears "whining" noises on cold morning to work which go away when the trucks warms up

If it gets too low the fluid will get frothy and the steering jerky.
The cold weather squeal is normal but can be corrected with synthetic fluid or Lube-Gard.
