3rd generation, 6.7l engine subforum if engine related.

 

You have a 3rd gen. Third includes 5.9l and 6.7l engines with 24 valves and common rail injection systems, 2003-2009. Before 3rd gen there was 2nd gen, 5.9l (either 12valves, early or 24 valves, later) with VP44 injection systems on the later years. Fourth gen, 2010- ,have 6.7l engines with LOTS more emissions equipment.

 

"Gen" means generation, as in what Cummins diesel generation model you have....
