Want Start
Want Start
A friend of mine has a 99 3500 that will not start. The truck has been doing fine with no bad symptoms. They went into the resturant to eat this evening, came out and the engine would crank fine but never fired. He has good fuel pressure, fuses and even swapped out the fuel relay. Still will not fire. By the way the truck does have an Edge Box, which he turned off, but that made no difference.
Any ideas what to look for?
Thanks,
TW

Thanks for the input. Turns out it was a VP44 that experienced a sudden death. No warnings. This particurlar VP44 had been subjectd to low fuel pressure for an extended period of time and had 102K miles on it. I was surprised that it gave no warning but it didn't. We replaced it and it is running excelent now. Thanks for all of the input.
