i was just wondering the symptoms of the pump cause i have had a "dead pedal" since i bought the truck and it has been almost a year. people say the truck dies sometimes or has hard starts. mine does nothing but the stupid pedal problem. i put a new lift pump in and some little sensors but nothing. i can usually reset the apps and it will work for like a day but then it starts again.my next step is the apps sensor, but i cant see spending 500 buck and it doesn't do it

 

bite the bullet and buy a new apps! i had the same issue and it cured it, but it did not cost 500.
i got mine from hoesli diesel for 285 plus shipping, it's very easy to install
