VP44 in, now "check engine" & weak power

I just finished installing the new VP44. The truck idles fine but goes flat early in the acceration. Also now has a "Check Engine" light. The odometer shows a 0122 and a 1693 code. Did the APPS fry now or does it need to be reset?

Double check all electrical connections and grounds first.

Okay, I'm a big dummy! Left the plug on the top driver's side rear unplugged. I plugged it back in, but the CEL is still on. I'm going back out for a test drive after dinner. I'm guessing the 1693 code was a left over from the VP44. I haven't had the codes cleared yet.

Yeah!!! The truck runs sooo much better with all the sensors plugged in! After a few trips here and there the CEL went away on its own. Thanks so much for all the great info. The whole thing was painless (other than buying the new pump) and took about 4 hours (taking my time.)

Hey, Joe, where did you end up getting your pump?

BTW: Hopefully you still got the on-call cha-ching for the court appearance
