uncontrollable front wheel shimmy
If you are looking at the bottom control arm mount you will see a bolt with an eccentric cam on one side. What you do is loosen the nut, and twist the bolt to the next notch on it. It will push the bottom of the axle forward, moving the bolt backwards in the hole (towards the rear of the truck). Do this to both sides and it should help. If you still are drawing ????'s in your mind I can take some pics tomarrow to help describe.

I don't mean to hijack the thread but I am having the exact same problem with a 91.5 W250. Besides the balljoints in the steering and tierod should I check the kingpin bushings since it has no balljoints there? I am not sure if the kingpin bushings wear out like that or would cause the problem. I grease everything frequently but I don't know about the PO. The truck had new shocks last year. Could it also be my serviceable bearings in the fixed spindle?
The kingpin bushings on that 91.5 can be bad enough to cause that without showing in tests. Take the bushings out & physically inspect them if you cannot find anything loose in the front end. That's what I had to do to fix the death wobble on mine. It hasn't shook since.
