Maybe it's the timing. I think I read that these pumps like to slip a bit and get the timing wrong then. If you get black smoke it says that you burn fuel. Maybe just not at the right time. <br><br>Good Luck!<br><br>AlpineRAM

does that year have the crankshaft sensor they say gets off or goes bad?
