i have a 2000 dodge and on a cold start it cranks up and runs fine but after its warmed up and i shut it off i can go try and start it again after about 20 min of sittin there and it wont start my fuel pump wont cut on but after it cools down for about an hour it will crank up and run fine the only code its showing is p1388 and ive checked all the relays and there fine it has a fass pump on it so i went and got a new lift pump and put it on but still have the same problem!!!! ANY IDEAS???

 

so you swapped the relays out after it was warmed up and tried it then?

 

swapped all of them same thing.... we bypassed the computer to the fass pump and put it on a toggle switch and after it got hot it did the same thing.... could the module on the injector pump be shortin out after it gets hot
