Ive never had a 6.7 before. Last night at 4am my check engine light came on. My truck has 74,000 miles on it. Here lately I have noticed that it feels like the tranny is shuttering. Its not very bad but I got more worried when the engine light came on. I took it to a dealership and they said that it was throwing 2 different codes. P0700 and P0704 which I was told has to do with the tranny. The shutter happens when im not pulling anything. Can anyone tell me what the problem is.

 

I believe those are generic codes that tell you you need to hook up a scanner to determine what is wrong with the tranny.

 

Ok thanks... I cant get it into the shop untill tuesday i hope its safe to drive because the nearest shop is 45 min away.
