Angry Trans trouble ?

Today I had trans. serviced fluid was burnt to a crispy and lots of metal in the pan .
service place told me to start saving my money . does this mean the trans is on its way to the junkyard or were they just tryin to sell me one? also on three diffrent occasions i have had what i think is a slip if i hit the pedal rpms shoot up nuthin happens then if i let off and try again goes fine and it only has done this three times and pretty far apart what is this a sign of?

Common signs before a rebuild are the crispy fluid and debris.
It is smart to do an aftermarket trans. They last a long time because they are built RIGHT. Factory is not right.
