Re:torque converter

Try lifting up on your brake pedal with your foot while cruising at lockup conditions. Might be bad switch adjustment.

Re:torque converter

Lean toward the electrical problem, doubt it is the converter. Throttle position sensor, or APPS on the 24V, could also be acting up.

Re:torque converter

i tried the tpps reset already that didn't help. but last night i unpluged the electrical connections and tried to clean them on the tranny and computer and now it seems to work right some of the time. Like i'll slow down and when i acell it feels like it's soppose to but the next time it wont so i think there must still be a dirty connection.

Re:torque converter

Try to clean the battery posts. The battery is the biggest noise filter in a car or truck, proper contacts are necessary to avoid problems.

Re:torque converter

clean battery posts, possibly clean apps, reset apps, if that kinda helps ,a noise filter may be the ticket.also try running an additional ground to your pcm housing...this worked for mine.

noise filter probably won't help. you can rewire the tps and solve the lockup issue though. let me know if you need help.
