Thump, Thump......Thump
OK this is drivin' me crazy...their is a Thump coming from my front end, it has no correlation w/ the brakes. Happens when I hit the slightest bump at all ( I can actually feel it in the floor board )...It isnt a big thump, just a soft thump... ( what is the actual meaning of the word "Thump" anyway )
No really though, it is annoying and I checked underneath and nothing seems loose, truck has 72k and original shocks however it never goes of road. Could the "track bar" cause this? I here alot about this part going bad....any input as usual would be greatly appreciated...

take a big bar and crawl under the truck and start prying things in the suspetion back and fourth. a worn bushing looks like any other bushing till it gets so bad it hangs out. with thr bar you will find the part in a hurry.

My .2 cents again Jack truck up check tires with prybar underneath tire don't jack to high, and check everything like Thumper said, sometimes wheelbearings will do this.

I would definitely check the track bar end where it joins the bracket on the frame. It looks like a cheap version of a tie rod end.
If it is shot, do not waste any money on a new trackbar, but go to the aftermarket for either the heim joint end if you can weld, or a complete new trackbar kit with the heim joint. They are much less expensive, and hundreds of times better than the OEM deal.
