Stock Boost for a 2006 Ram 2500

I just bought a 06 Ram 2500 and it has a chip in it. When I went to the dealership the service guy gave me some pointers about the truck regarding what to do and not to do with the truck since it has a chip.
He told me that a stock 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel only runs a maximum of 20 pounds of boost and that I should never exceed this setting with my chip. Does anyone know if this is true? I just want to be safe and not damage the turbo or the truck. I have a Edge Advanced Chip, Airraid intake, and 4" turbo back straight pipe exhaust. Does anyone have any other advice for a first time Cummins owner. Do's and Do Not's???
Thanks

I thought stock was closer to 30psi,once warmed up. I doubt you would have to keep it under 20psi.Id run it to 30 without blinking an eye. Do and donts, do drive it gentle until the engine temp is up,then you can use the power, once the temp hits 180 degrees,do let it cool for a minute before shutting down ,more if you were running it hard or towing.Dont expect every dealer to honor your warranty with the chip in it,take it to the one that sold it to you,and if its gotta go anywhere else, consider yourself warned it will likely be denied warranty and red flagged if the claim is powertrain related, dont lug the engine or chug it around in a gear to high, this is murder on the drivetrain, keep it working in its power range, esp when loaded.
