I have a 2006 auto CTD and I had an astro start installed last fall, and today I went to lock it and the remote it said it was locked but it did not lock, the horn didnt sound and the lights didn't flash, I tried locking it with the key lock and nothing, I had to lock it from the inside and unlock it with the key. The remote still starts the pickup, but when you go to drive it, the red security light stays on, anyone heard of this before?

Probably like most computers it needs to be rebooted occasionally.
My first guess would be to disconnect the batteries for awhile.
