I just installed the fass fuel system on my 2001 CTD, I have noticed a little rattle in the motor after the install. That was not there before It's not significant. but can hear it while driving.And maybe seems to be getting louder the more I drive it. like a valve out of wack on a gas job, but again not as significant. I know you guys are probably going to ask about fuel pressure, or the other vitals , but I don't have them yet. So I'm propably just beating a dead horse right know asking you guys, until I know more info.

 

I THINK I have valve noises when I am getting onto it "with gusto" - this occurred not after the FASS installation, but after the Edge went on, consensus from this site was that I needed a valve adjustment (105k-ish miles at the time) - which I've yet to do

How many miles do you have on it?

 

HUH...this is a new one to me! haha....get a fuel pressure reading. AND if you have over 150,000 on your engine....(Like me...) i would suggest lashing the valves. I have been hering mine lately as well.....and need to do it as well......maybe this weekend????? hahaha Keep us informed.

 

I have 124,000 kms on my truck. What you guys have suggested makes sense. I'll look into it after I get home for the holidays. thanks for the help
