I am about to install 275's and a comp on my 2001 and i need to know if I need an extra fuel pump and if so what kind and where do i get it any help on this matter would help me greatly.

 

Do you have a fuel pressure guage, if so what are the pressures. Also you should have a pyro to monitor exhaust gas with that setup.

 

I ordered the pyrometer with every thing else and no i dont have a fuel pressure gauge.

 

Hey eric keep reading on this board and youll find out how bad you will really need a fuel pump.
Im in the prosses now of getting rid of the stock set up . Its the third pump in 4 or 5 months and am done with it. I have read alot of things about pusher pumps and decided to go with a FASS system. It totally ellimanates the stock set up alltogether.
But dont take my word for it Im still a nubee.
Oh yea get a fuel pressure gauge quick.

You need to get a fuel pressure guage asap or a temparary one you can test with. You need to know whats going on when running a comp and injectors.
