My friends got a 96 powerstroke. It already has the edge evolution programmer. We got an edge ez for it hooked it up and....what a terd. It would only go to about 45 mph and act like it was on the gov. So it got sent back to edge and the new one came today. SAME THING!!!! ahhhhh!! Don't know if you guys are familiar with it, but its supposed to plug in "in circuit" by the drivers side valve cover. On his way home tonight, the check engine light came on and it would take off. Bad connection? According to edge, the two are stackable. The connectors are pushed together until they click so I dont know how it could be loose. Thanks for any help. BTW, did I mention that i love that mods to my first gen are all mechanical?
