Problems after PCM replacement

Last Monday my Dodge dealer replaced the PCM due to an "internal fault." (The alternator gauge had suddenly dropped to the left while I was driving.)

I picked up the supposedly repaired truck ($850), but when I started it up, the fasten seat belt light stayed on. When I drove off, the ABS and brake indicator lights came on. So I left the truck for the dealer to check it out.

Four shop-days later, it still has the same symptoms. I've been searching the internet to find similar problems so I can talk intelligently with the shop. I keep coming up with "program the VIN" -- is there any way they could have messed this up, or is that too obvious? Also, can anyone explain "set pinion factor in ABS module" ? -- Google hit that one as a possible reason for the ABS light to come on after a PCM replacement.

Thanks in advance,

Shorty

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
Both are valid info to plug into new controller.Should have been auto part of repair. Pinion factor is adjsutment for # of teeth on ring gear. Vin will complete program parameteres for particlar engine married to.
