www.techauthority.com handles the legal copies of the Dodge/Cummins service manual.

I always see original manuals for sale on eBay. Not free but usually only a few bucks.

I see both versions for $90 each.

Not too sure which one you were looking at.

The CD copy is $90.
The paper copy IS $385.

There must be a lot of info in THAT book.
And they have to use a fork lift to bring it to the door.

I think I'd spring for the CD.....

There's a bunch of info in my hard-copy Service Manual that I'd never use.

$385 for a shop manual!!! That can't be right!! $100-150 maybe, but not almost $400. I did see the CD ROM version for $45 & shipping on e-bay

2006 Ram Shop Manual

Well, I think I found out why the Factory manual is almost $400. I found a factory manual on-line & it shows 9000+ pages. I have no idea what edit is ON 9000+ Pages. But it covers the entire truck!!!

The factory manual is the ONLY one you'll ever need.
Comparing the factory manual to the Chilton's manuals.........
Well,.... it's like comparing a great novel to a comic book.

I got a manual on CD off E-bay for about $10. It's just as good as the paper service manual I got from Dodge for my old '96.

He originally asked for an "OWNERS MANUAL". I was thinking the little one in the glove compartment - thats why I suggested eBay.

I assume at $385 you guys are talking about a SERVICE MANUAL.

your best bet for an owners manual I think is Ebay or a salvage yard or maybe try a google search? maybe a dealer can order one too but it might be pricey from dealer I have gotten ones off ebay for my other trucks like I got a 1996 2500 for something like $10- $15 plus shipping. as far as the heater problem maybe try another post addressing that problem. GOOD LUCK
